This week the Spring 2023 Biology Colloquium hosts Ernesto Weil, Professor in the Department of Marine Science at the University of Puerto Rico Mayagüez. Dr. Weil studies disease ecology in reef-building corals, and his seminar will be titled, “Fifty years of disease impacts in coral reefs and other marine communities: stressors, drivers and consequences”
Colloquium series seminars are held Fridays at 2pm in Chaparral Hall room 5125. This week, Dr. Weil will be available to meet with students during a “Meet the Speaker” mixer after the seminar in Chaparral Hall room 5201, where light refreshments will be served.
