Colloquium: Flores on the diversity of a key member of the human microbiome

This week the Fall 2022 Biology Colloquium series will feature CSUN Associate Professor of Biology Gilberto Flores. Dr. Flores studies the human microbiome and its applications for health and disease treatment. His seminar will be titled, “Physiological diversity of the potentially therapeutic human gut symbiont Akkermansia muciniphila.”

The Colloquium series has returned to in-person presentations for Fall 2022, with talks held Fridays at 2pm in Chaparral Hall room 5125.
