Colloquium: Tanner on the unavoidable link between science and politics

This week the Fall 2022 Biology Colloquium series will feature Richelle Tanner, Assistant Professor of Environmental Science and Policy at Chapman University. Tanner is an ecophysiologist, and leads the Socio-Ecological and Climate Resilience Lab, which works to apply science for climate resiliency in human communities. Her talk will be titled, “Science is not apolitical: An imperative of community advocacy in climate change biology research.”

The Colloquium series has returned to in-person presentations for Fall 2022, with talks held Fridays at 2pm in Chaparral Hall room 5125.
