Rachman accepts PhD research position to map sagebrush communities from the air

CSUN Biology Master’s student Richard Rachman has solidified plans for after graduation, accepting a PhD research position at Boise State University working with Assistant Professor of Biology Trevor Caughlin. Rachman will be supported through an NSF grant to map sagebrush steppe vegetation recruitment and disturbance dynamics using processed aerial imagery, such as images taken from drones.
