Dr. Alderate (UC Boulder website)

This week’s seminar in the Biology Colloquium series will be presented by Tanya Alderate, Assistant Professor of Integrative Physiology at the University of Colorado, Boulder. Dr. Alderate studies the human microbiome in the context of metabolic health, and her talk will be titled “The Gut Microbiome: Connecting Environmental Exposures and Human Health”.

Because CSUN has suspended large in-person meetings to help slow the transmission of the novel coronavirus, this week’s Colloquium will be presented by videoconference on the Zoom service. You can watch the presentation on Friday at 2pm via this meeting link, with passcode 8596. (Following the link may prompt the installation of the Zoom app in order to display video.)
