Colloquium: Medh on the life and death of cells

Dr. Medh (Medh lab website)

This week’s seminar in the Biology Colloquium series launches will be presented by CSUN Professor of Biology Rheem Medh. Dr. Medh studies apoptosis, the process by which cells end their lives, and which has potential therapeutic applications in cancer treatment and immune therapies. Her seminar will be titled “Life or death: A cellular balancing act”

Because CSUN has suspended large in-person meetings to help slow the transmission of the novel coronavirus, this week’s Colloquium will be presented by videoconference on the Zoom service. You can watch the presentation on Friday at 2pm via this meeting link, with passcode biology. (Following the link may prompt the installation of the Zoom app in order to display video.)
