Colloquium: Gilbert on CRISPR’s next trick

Dr. Gilbert (Gilbert Lab website)

This week’s seminar in the Biology Colloquium series will be given by Dr. Luke Gilbert from the School of Medicine at UC San Francisco. Gilbert studies molecular biology and genetics of cancer, developing methods for dissecting gene interactions that may shape responses to cancer treatments. His seminar will be titled “Retooling CRISPR to turn genes on and off.”

The Biology Colloquium series is held every Friday during the semester, at 2:00pm in Chaparral Hall room 5125.
