Microbiology Student Association hosts Mohamed Donia to discuss small molecules’ role in microbiome associations

Mohamed Donia (Princeton University)

The Microbiology Student Association, in cooperation with BUILD PODER and the University Student Union, will host a campus visit by Dr. Mohamed S. Donia, Assistant Professor of Molecular Biology at Princeton University, this Friday. Donia studies the role of small molecule natural products in mediating interactions between multicellular organisms and their microbial associates — from mutualists to pathogens.

Donia will give a seminar on his work at 11am in the USU Lake View Terrace room, and meet with students about graduate school opportunities at Princeton until 1pm. Lunch will be provided with RSVP to csun.msq@gmail.com.
