Dr. Eva K. Fischer will visit the Department of Biology next Monday, May 6, to meet with department members and present her research on the evolution of parental care by Ecuadorian poison frogs.
Fischer is currently a postdoctoral researcher in the O’Connel Lab at the Department of Biology at Stanford University, and will start a faculty position at the Univeristy of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana, next spring. Her seminar will be in CR 5126 at 3:30pm. Students and faculty wishing to meet with Dr. Fischer should e-mail Chelsea Brisson.
