The Fall 2023 Biology Colloquium Series continues this Friday with a seminar by Joanne Emerson, Assistant Professor of Plant Pathology at UC Davis. Dr. Emerson studies the dynamics of viral communities, their impacts on the host species they infect, and the environments they share with those hosts. Her seminar will be titled, “Surprisingly active and dynamic viral communities in soil”.
Colloquium series seminars are held Fridays at 2pm in Chaparral Hall room 5122.
