Biology Stockroom readies for a new school year

As the fall semester brings students back to campus, the Biology Stockroom staff has been busy preparing Department facilities and equipment for a new academic year of classes and research.

The Stockroom oversaw replacement of two long-used vehicles in the department fleet, and made them available in the Biology Clustermarket reservation system. The Biology Stockroom student assistants, Estefany and Brian, inspected and refreshed the chemical spill kits in all the Department’s instructional and research labs. They also did the same for the emergency kits inside each departmental vehicle. Stockroom staff coordinated with Physical Plant Management custodians to clean classroom floors in Eucalyptus, Citrus, and Magnolia Halls, and to repair peeling veneer on the cabinets and countertops in older classrooms. Welcome back to these improved spaces!
