Colloquium: Sage on what happens when lung cancer reaches the brain

Dr. Sage (Stanford website)

This week the Spring 2023 Biology Colloquium hosts Julien Sage, the Elaine and John Chambers Professor of Pediatrics and Genetics at Stanford University. Dr. Sage studies cell proliferation and its role in the spread of cancer from its tissue of origin to other parts of the body — or metastasis. His seminar, given by invitation with the URISE and Bridges-to-PhD programs, will be titled, “Modeling brain metastasis of lung cancer to identify novel therapeutic strategies”.

Colloquium series seminars are held Fridays at 2pm in Chaparral Hall room 5125.
