Colloquium: Munshi-South on evolution and ecology in the big city

Dr. Munshi-South (Fordham University website)

This week the Fall 2022 Biology Colloquium series will feature Jason Mushi-South, Associate Professor of Biology at Fordham University. Dr. Munshi-South studies ecology and evolution of species that live in urbanized areas, especially New York — from brown rats to pigeons to salamanders. His seminar, presented with support from the Behavior, Ecology, and Evolution Research Club, will be titled, “Urban landscape genomics: Lessons from New York city and beyond.”

The Colloquium series has returned to in-person presentations for Fall 2022, with talks held Fridays at 2pm in Chaparral Hall room 5125.
