This week in the Fall 2022 Biology Colloquium series, CSUN alum Lena Vincent, Ph.D., returns to campus to discuss her postdoctoral research at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Dr. Vincent earned her Master’s working with CSUN Professor of Biology David Bermudes, and now studies astrobiology and prebiotic chemistry — the conditions necessary for life to originate. Her presentation, which is sponsored by U-RISE and BRIDGES, will be titled “Recent advances in astrobiology.”
The Colloquium series has returned to in-person presentations for Fall 2022, with talks held Fridays at 2pm in Chaparral Hall room 5125.
