This week’s seminar in the Biology Colloquium series launches will be presented by CSUN Professor of Biology Tim Karels. Dr. Karels studies behavioral ecology, particularly of mammals — and his lab has recently delved into the lives of urban carnivores like coyotes and bobcats. His presentation will be titled “Life in the big city: How urban carnivores and their prey persist among us”.
Because CSUN has suspended large in-person meetings to help slow the transmission of the novel coronavirus, this week’s Colloquium will be presented by videoconference on the Zoom service. You can watch the presentation on Friday at 2pm via this meeting link, with passcode biology
