Colloquium: Yoder on the role of species interactions in evolution

Dr. Jeremy Yoder

This week’s seminar in the Biology Colloquium series launches will be presented by CSUN Assistant Professor of Biology Jeremy Yoder. Dr. Yoder studies the evolution of interacting species, especially mutualists, and has spent much of his career working with Joshua trees and their specialized pollinators. His seminar will be titled “With or without you? Species interactions and the origins of biological diversity”.

Because CSUN has suspended large in-person meetings to help slow the transmission of the novel coronavirus, this week’s Colloquium will be presented by videoconference on the Zoom service. You can watch the presentation on Friday at 2pm via this meeting link, with passcode biology. (Following the link may prompt the installation of the Zoom app in order to display video.)
