Colloquium: Ansel on the regulation of inflammation

Dr. Mark Ansel (Ansel Lab website)

This week’s seminar in the Biology Colloquium series launches will be presented by Mark Ansel, a professor of Microbiology and Immunology at UC San Francisco. Dr. Ansel studies the activation and regulation of immune responses, particularly through micro RNAs, or miRNAs, and epigenetic mechanisms. His seminar will be titled “Understanding regulatory networks in immunity and inflammation”.

Because CSUN has suspended large in-person meetings to help slow the transmission of the novel coronavirus, this week’s Colloquium will be presented by videoconference on the Zoom service. You can watch the presentation on Friday at 2pm via this meeting link, with passcode biology. (Following the link may prompt the installation of the Zoom app in order to display video.)
