This week the Biology Colloquium seminar series features CSUN Associate Professor of Biology Lisa Banner. Dr. Banner studies how a class of molecules called cytokines link the immune system and the nervous system — particularly in responses to systematic stress. Her seminar "Examining the role of immune cytokines in the prediabetic brain: A neuroimmune connection" will discuss recent research in her lab.
