June CSUN-al Gardening class will feature tool rehab and maintenance

On Saturday, June 1st, from 9-11 a.m., landscape designer Steve Gerischer will lead the June CSUN-al Gardening class, addressing the best gardening tools, where to get them, and how to maintain them. Steve will demonstrate how to rehab a pair of rusty hand pruners that were left in the Botanic Garden.

Attendees are encouraged to bring in unusual garden tools for show and tell. (Power tools will not be covered in this program.) Come to this class so you can be the King (or Queen) of Spades in your garden!

Registration for the free class is required. Please e-mail botanicgarden@csun.edu to request a space in the class and include your name and the number of seats you are requesting. Driving and parking instructions, as well as the class meeting location, will be sent upon registration.
