Colloquium: Gerrish on tiny crustaceans that light up the sea

This week’s seminar in the Biology Colloquium series will be given by Dr. Gretchen Gerrish, visiting from the University of Wisconsin, La Crosse. Gerrish studies bioluminescent ostracods, tiny marine crustaceans that emit glowing chemicals as part of courtship displays and defensive behaviors.

The Biology Colloquium series is held every Friday during the semester, at 2:00pm in Chaparral Hall room 5125.
