Microbiology Students Association hosts Denise Dearing to describe how herbivorous animals cope with toxic food plants

The Microbiology Students Association is hosting Denise Dearing from the University of Utah on Friday, November 16, at 11am in the Lake View Terrace Room of the University Student Union. Dr. Dearing will present her research in a seminar titled “Eating and not dying: Strategies for dealing with dietary toxins.”

In addition to her research seminar, Dr. Dearing is interested in meeting with students who are considering PhD programs at the University of Utah. MSA will host a student reception immediately following Dearing’s talk, with lunch provided for a limited number of students.
