Colloquium: Aguayo on the role of a small protein in the endoplasmic reticulum’s big workload

The Spring 2025 Biology Colloquium Series concludes this Friday with a seminar by Analine Aguayo, a postdoctoral researcher working with CSUN Professor of Biology Maria Elena deBellard. Dr. Aguayo studies the role of the endoplasmic reticulum in ensuring the distribution of correctly folded proteins within cells. Her talk, presented with support from URISE and Bridges to the PhD, will be titled “Small in Size, Big in Impact: Dfm1’s Role in Regulating Lipid Homeostasis and Proteotoxic Stress”.

Colloquium series seminars are held Fridays at 2pm in Chaparral Hall room 5125.
