Colloquium: Sanabria on the role of actin in cellular stress and aging

The Spring 2024 Biology Colloquium Series launches this Friday with a seminar by Ryo Higuchi-Sanabria, Assistant Professor in the Leonard Davis School of Gerontology at USC. Dr. Sanabria studies the relationship between cellular stress responses and aging. Their talk will be titled, “Branching out from actin filaments: actin and organelle homeostasis during aging”.

Colloquium series seminars are held Fridays at 2pm in Chaparral Hall room 5122. Dr. Sanabria will be available after the seminar to meet with students during a “Meet the Speaker” reception, with light refreshments, in Chaparral Hall 5201.
