Earlier in August, the National Science Foundation hosted a webinar on strategies for online learning in the coming semester, with alumni of the Presidential Awards for Excellence in Science, Mathematics, and Engineering Mentoring — including CSUN’s own Professor Emeritus of Biology Steven Oppenheimer, who received the award in 2007 in recognition of his work creating and promoting research experiences in K-12 education.
