This week’s seminar in the Biology Colloquium series will be given by Dr. Allison Shultz, the Assistant Curator of Ornithology at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County. Shultz studies the evolution of birds’ plumage, pathogen resistance, and geographic ranges. Her seminar will be titled “The long and short of it: Linking genome-wide signatures of selection across evolutionary timescales in birds.”

The Biology Colloquium series is held every Friday during the semester, at 2:00pm in Chaparral Hall room 5125.
