This week’s seminar in the Biology Department colloquium series will be presented by Tom Giarla, visiting from Sienna College. Giarla studies the biogeography of tropical mammals, using reconstructions of evolutionary relationships to understand how environmental conditions and barriers to dispersal have shaped the diversity of small cute furry things across Southeast Asia, South America, and Africa.

The Biology Colloquium series is held every Friday during the semester, at 2:00pm in Chaparral Hall room 5125.
